The following graph demonstrates the change in mass-flow rate (the rate of exhaust gas entering the airbag, measured in kg/sec)
over time (in milliseconds) for six individual Variable Output Inflator deployment profiles.
As demonstrated, Variable Output Inflators can instantly adapt to any requirement, including the flexible distribution of inflation energy between
primary and secondary discharges, the sustained release of energy and the multiple mass-flow rates within a single inflation.
